Camp Half Blood

Welcome, Demigods!

"If you're reading this because you think you might be one, my advice is: close this book right now. Being a half-blood is dangerous."

[Basically, if you've ever wanted to throw your character into the world of Heroes of Olympus, now you can! Make them a Greek demigod! Make them Roman! Make them a Satyr if you want. Just make it so that they've always been here (If they have, all the better for them.) Post with a few options, or let people respond with their own! Have fun.]

[Dave pauses as he sees Nanaki doing something odd. He raises an eyebrow.]

Yo, sis. You want some help with that?

[He can understand her not wanting to talk about her future-sight. Dave's own is pretty odd, only showing him the possible future of decisions he makes that are important in the grand scheme of things. Even then, it's not like Dave can will it to happen. It just kinda happens whenever Apollo wants it to. Or whoever gives him the vision.]

[Normally Nanaki shies away from any help when it comes to changing the future, but Dave is different. Dave understands what it's like, to be burdened with such a terrible power.]

Yeah, help me roll these logs down to the lake.

[They're kind of big, but they're on an open hill, so once they get rolling they'll be fine. They have an hour or so until Nanaki's vision will come to pass, so they have time to move them all.]

[He salutes.]

Will do, ma'am.

[Dave helps her out with the logs.]

I take it you saw somethin' that needs some logs to prevent?

You're mostly right, but the logs needed to be out of the way.

[They can't roll onto campers and pin them underwater if they're already in the lake.]

Gotcha. Hope the naiads don't get pissed at us, though.

[It doesn't stop him from helping, though.]

All the logs need to go in?

If they have a problem with it, I'll take responsibility for it.

[She's been pretty good about getting all the different non-humans at camp mad at her, might as well piss off the naiads too.]

Yeah, all of these here. It's only a few, so I hope they don't mind much.

No worries, I'll talk to 'em. I might not be one of Aphrodite's kids, but I'm on pretty good terms with the nymphs. Might be able to smooth it over.

[He hopes, anyway.]

How did you get on good terms with the nymphs?

[They've always been kind of catty, in her experience.]

Some friendly flirtin' and impromptu concerts do a lot to get 'em in a good mood. Plus, they're great sources for gossip and general info when they forget you can still eavesdrop.

[He shrugs as he pushes the last log down the hill, dusting his hands off.]

[Huzzah, the prediction has been broken! Nanaki dusts off her hands and turns to face Dave.]

I'll leave it to you to use your flirting magic, then. Thanks for your help.
