[Basically, if you've ever wanted to throw your character into the world of Heroes of Olympus, now you can! Make them a Greek demigod! Make them Roman! Make them a Satyr if you want. Just make it so that they've always been here (If they have, all the better for them.) Post with a few options, or let people respond with their own! Have fun.]

[He's a little surprise that a satyr hadn't found Dirk before that happened, but whatever. Maybe he was assigned a silly, slacker satyr or something.]

Oh, I don't know that I'd ever be even half as qualified as Chiron! I just want to learn whatever I can from him, whatever he's willing to teach me. He's the most brilliant of all the centaurs, not at all like those foolish party ponies, and there's just so much I could learn. Writing, history, archery, just everything.

[Yeah, there's just the faintest hint of hero worship in Equius' voice.]

He's a teacher, dude, I doubt he'll say no. Helping people do those things is literally his job.

Hero and centaur aren't necessarily mutually exclusive categories.
